South Lake Tahoe's newest cocktail lounge and live music venue opens its doors on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2026.
Tessie's Cocktails & Chords is at Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe — a room built for live music, handcrafted cocktails, and the kind of night that starts as one drink and ends when the lights come up. We open every day at 11am and live music begins at 8pm, seven nights a week, all summer long.
What Tessie's Is
Tessie's is a live music cocktail lounge at Caesars Republic. Every night of the week, there is someone performing on our stage — solo artists Monday through Wednesday, full bands Friday and Saturday, and two weekly signature nights that have already generated more buzz than we know what to do with.
The cocktail program leads with local ingredients. The Sweet Child O-Pine Old Fashioned — local Sugar Pine syrup, aromatic and black walnut bitters, smooth bourbon — is what South Lake Tahoe tastes like in a glass. The full menu was built for people who want a real drink in a room worth staying in.
If you're coming from a show at Caesars Republic this summer, show your concert ticket at the bar for a buy-one-get-one cocktail. Live music starts at 8pm every night — the show doesn't have to end when the arena lights come up.
Opening Weekend — July 2nd Through 6th
Five nights. Live music every single one.
Wednesday, July 2 — Opening Night Doors open at 11am. This is the night we've been building toward. Solo artist takes the stage at 8pm. Walk-ins are welcome until we're full. If you want to guarantee your spot, reserve now.
Thursday, July 3 — Sonic Zoo Solo artist at 8pm. Sonic Zoo takes over at 10pm with a full band set that will define what Thursday nights at Tessie's feel like.
Friday, July 4 — Sonic Zoo Solo artist at 8pm. Sonic Zoo back for night two. Fourth of July at Tessie's — rock and roll all night.
Saturday, July 5 — House Band Solo artist at 8pm. House Band from 10pm. The weekend isn't over until Tessie's closes.
Sunday, July 6 — Sunday Session Local artists from 10pm. Industry night. The best Sunday send-off in South Lake Tahoe.
What's Coming All Summer
Opening weekend is just the beginning. Here's what we're building all summer long.
Sailing Club — Every Thursday Starting July 9 South Lake Tahoe has been missing a proper Thursday night. Sailing Club is live yacht rock, every Thursday at Tessie's. Pier Pressure takes over at 10pm — Jump, Man Eater, Footloose, Africa, Don't Stop Believing, all live. The opener hits at 8pm. This is the Thursday night Tahoe has been waiting for.
Faded Karaoke — Every Tuesday Starting July 2 Regular karaoke has a backing track. Faded Karaoke has a live band. Your song. Their musicians. Zero judgment. Every Tuesday at Tessie's, starting at 10:30pm. Come ready to commit.
Concert After-Parties — Every Weekend Caesars Republic is hosting A-list acts all summer. Tessie's is the after-party. Show your concert ticket at the bar for a buy-one-get-one cocktail. Live music from 8pm every night — the party starts before the show ends and keeps going after.
ACC Week — July 8–12 American Century Championship week in Tahoe means celebrities, athletes, and Rock & Roll. Tessie's is the place to be every night July 8 through 12. Alfonso Ribeiro hosts Wednesday. Sonic Zoo plays Tuesday. 442s on Friday. Grand Opening Saturday with New Wave Crave. Full lineup and event details coming soon.
